A Note on Construction & Handling

Seaswirl Striper 2601 WA “Alaska Package” construction features multiple layers of hand-laid fibreglass with reinforced keel chines for added strength and durability. Self-bailing decks efficiently channel water overboard, while the one-piece Fibrecore stringer system is fully bonded to the hull for structural integrity. The composite transom is designed to resist rot, cracking, and deterioration over time. Closed-cell foam insulation is sprayed throughout the hull cavities to reduce noise and enhance onboard comfort.

The 2601 WA is built on a V-Track hull with a 20-degree aft dead rise and a specially designed strake system that delivers excellent handling, traction, and cornering performance in a variety of sea conditions.

Power is provided by twin Yamaha 150 four-stroke outboards, a popular setup for the 2601 WA. Factory performance testing recorded a top speed of more than 47 mph with 15.25D x 17P three-blade SWS propellers. The boat planes efficiently at just 3,000 rpm, achieving approximately 22.4 mph while consuming 7.8 kph for an impressive 2.87 mpg.
